Events
A large part of our annual fund raising comes from sponsoring the Currituck Wildlife Festival and Currituck Craft Festival
The Wildlife Festival is held the 1st Saturday and Sunday after Labor Day and features Wildlife artisans from up and down the Eastern Seaboard. This Festival was started by the Coinjock Ruritan Club in 2004, and continues to be a popular attraction today. On display, for viewing and purchase are original paintings and prints, numerous hand carvings of various birds and wildlife, decoys for display or hunting, antique decoys, photography, taxidermy, and many one-of-a kind gifts associated with Wildlife.
The Currituck Craft Festival is held the 1st weekend in December, and was started in 2009. It provides a venue for many local crafters from Northeast N.C. and the Tidewater Va. areas to display their crafts and talents.
Currituck Arts & Crafts Festival
The Coinjock Ruritan’s are excited to present the annual Currituck Arts & Crafts Festival, on the first weekend in December. This Festival continues to be a venue for all Crafters and Artisans to display their talents at an indoor event, just prior to the Christmas Season.
